audio device

PostWed Mar 10, 2021 12:53 pm

Whenever I launch DR (17.1 beta) it never is able to find my audio device.
I use a Universal Audio Apollo Twin but it never gives me the option to select it as my 'Audio Interface.'
JUST gives me the option of 'Fairlight Audio Interface and MADI'.
It DOES show the Apollo under the 'speaker setup' in Prefereces though.
The problem is mostly that DR changes my sampling rate from the usual 44k that I use in Apollo to whatever it is DR uses.

Standard Free version of Resolve?

Only the Studio version supports additional sampling rates, the free version is locked at 48kHz.

Suggest you include a system spec in your signature. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90190

On Windows we could not get DR to recognize Apollo products.

Should it at least recognize the Apollo though? I'm aware of Windows users having issues with Apollo but didn't think it was a problem mac users had.

Also, signature changed.

Based on your initial post the Apollo is recognised in Speaker Setup. Is this still the case?

Note that the Audio Interface setting in Resolve's Video and Audio I/O Preferences is only applicable to the Fairlight Audio Accelerator in order to configure a MADI-only configuration with third party IO or MADI with the Fairlight Audio Interface.
