Davinci Resolve 17.1 No Audio. - Fixed

PostMon Mar 15, 2021 9:19 pm

Hey friends,

I came across with very weird bug, my Davinci Resolve 17.1 audio just stop working and I don't know why or how i can fix...

Everything was just fine 2 days ago, but now I can't get any audio to work in Davinci, not the timeline or the playback.

I update the windows today, this was the only thing I did that might had bugged Davinci.

Things that I tried so far:

Update all my MOBO drivers (including audio drivers);
Reinstalled Davinci Resolve 17.1 Studio Version;
Work around the Bus options inside Fairlight as some videos tutorials on youtube;
Relinked the media pool clips;
Create a new project...

Nothing worked.

My Computer is working flawless, and I'm getting audio from every sources, even in my games, everything's just fine.

Someone please help-me? =(

Hello Mike, thank you for your reply

I tried all the configs and nothing worked. Then I realized I had some devices in my sound control panels that was not been used, so I disable everything leaving only the speakers and it worked...

Maybe this last windows update screwed up the way the sounds drivers communicated with Davinci Resolve... Don't know.

Can you believe I couldn't find the the audio I/O setup until you told me where to look? Don't know why, but this happens too often with me and Davinci configs... Maybe Davinci configs is to complicate or maybe I'm too lazy to ready those long names with careful... lol

Thank you again my friend. =)
