Resolve 17.1 Studio on Intel Macs

I am not clear whether Resolve 17.1 is only for Intel Macs or works on (or is recommended for) Intel Macs. Whenever I launch 17.0 on my MacPro I get an update notification.

17.1 is for both types of machines.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
