Hi
Ive recently been given a brand new MBP 16 inch 2019, fully specced up with 32GB Ram and the AMD 5500 8GB Graphics card. Processor is 2.4 Ghz 8-core intel I9
I installed the latest version of Davinci resolve a few days ago (17.1) and Im currently doing basic editing of a 1080P timeline with one track of audio. The video is H264 and audio is WAV.
Every time I click on one of the included Fusion transition effects or even hover my mouse over it, Resolve just quits and brings up the warning page (see attached image) This is happening all the time. It also seems to be random in terms of transitions. The normal basic Video transitions such as cross dissolve work ok. It seems to be the more processor hungry transitions.
Also the program is quitting if i attempt to create anything in the fusion timeline, after trying to add a star shape with render and merge the program quit on me again.
I have tried creating a new project with a small 1080P clip of 1 minute and no audio and the same thing happens.
Has anyone encountered this recently especially on a MBP ? Im not getting this on my Imac 27 inch from 2015 and I have the same software version installed on that machine.
