Issue with audio not syncing in edit page but in fairlight

So I am new to video editing and davinci resolve and started my second project overall but first with a lot of cuts. I have been working to cut and merge files and am nearly do when I go back to the beginning and all of a sudden my video and audio are out of sync. Now these files were fine at the start and I used Handbrake to make surenthe frames per minute were consistent. I had been checking the end of the files throughout the project but when I hit the rewind button to go back to the start and do a play back everything was out of sync. Now I checked the frame rate and timeline rate and that is fine. I then out of desperation go into fairlight for the first time and in this area my video plays in sync. I have restarted both the program and my computer and the results are the same inthe two edit pages my video and audio are out of sync but in fairlight everything is fine. Also the video and audio tracks are in the same file.
