Cant decode Sony FS 5 4K

Does the free version of Resolve 17 decode the XAVC files that the the Sony FS5 records? They are in an .mxf file. The manual seems to say it will work, but there's a lot of mxf varieties.

Anyone who is successfully editing with these files on DR free. Let me know.

If they're 10 bit files, you may require Studio.

Got it. They are 10bit. I've got Studio on backorder from B&H.

Try to re-wrap them into .MOV, the Mac may accept them in the free version.

Just to close the loop on this, I received my studio version and it plays Sony slog from the F5 and F55 just fine.
