Groups, and organizing groups

Is there a way to make sub folders to store your groups? I'm working on feature length projects and organizing shots into groups is becoming more cumbersome it's worth sometimes. Am i missing something or is there no way to create sub folders in the menus for selecting groups? The list of groups i have is getting long, bigger than can fit on the screen, and the "scroll" functionality is very hit or miss, i literally have to throw the mouse to the bottom of the screen with momentum to get that dang group list to scroll. God forbid the scroll over shoots the intended group i'm trying to access.

Same goes for Stills. Is there no sub folder workflow for either of these?
