Thread stuck in device driver

PostThu Dec 10, 2020 12:01 pm

Hi. I've been getting this bsod(thread stuck in device driver) when using davinci resolve. - Pretty much, the chance is 50/50 to get it while editing. I suppose it could be the amd driver since I've manually set this program to run on it through win settings. What can i do?

These days, a BSOD is usually caused by a faulty driver or failing hardware.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Hi There. I am having this problem as well on my laptop, but only on start up. If I am on mains power it starts fine, on battery BSOD with this error code. Also AMD GPU and after trying a few things it does seem like it is an issue with the GPU/drivers.

Have you had any luck resolving this?
