First I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Blackmagic for their incomparable generosity in making Davinci Resolve accessible to everyone! I have LOVED it for the seven years I've been gratefully using it for my home videos.
I have found it a little harder each upgrade, as the UI seems to have become more complicated. But with 17, I was in a spin trying to edit a friend's family video, as not only did I not understand all the changes but it seems function has ground to slow crawl! I'm using a MacBook Pro, 2.4GHZ processor with 8 GB RAM, Intel Iris 1536mb Graphics and Catalina OS. Playback is jerky and unstable, with audio constantly out of sync...until I export. Then, the exported file is always fine! Is this a known issue, or do I have to have a massive system to run v.17?
