Problem with the Project Manager and Subfolders V17.1b Build

PostTue Mar 16, 2021 7:05 pm

Hi
I have a small question about the project manager,
When you create folders, you can switch to them from the main window. But I have not found a way to get back from a folder.

The problem is, if you have opened a project in a subfolder and then want to open another main folder, it doesn't work, you have to restart Resolve completely.

The manual says on page 101, To exit a folder use the path control at the bottom left of the Project Manager.
But I can't find this bottom. Am I blind?

It would be great if someone could check this.

Version Davinci Resolve Version 17.1B Build 21.
OS windows 10.

Hi Peter
Thanks a lot, you have put me on the right track.
in Davinci Resolve 17.1b there is nothing at the bottom left, but is now at the top.

I've attached a picture in case others need to reorient themselves.

Yes you can go back from sub-folder or a folder to Projects; which is the main page, it has changed in Resolve 17, now you just click on the word Projects and takes a couple of seconds before it gather all the information and then you are there.
So if you had a sub folder, you will see three folder, Projects/Folder/subfolder.
