how to copy some effects (not all) from node?

PostSat Mar 27, 2021 12:40 pm

Hi
I drew a mask using a power window around a shape in a shot Y and tracked the shape using auto-tracking & manual keyframes.
I want to copy effects from shot X that has different tracking data & paste it to shot Y. so, I thought about copy all the node effects (ctrl+c) to a new node in the shot Y and then removing the old tracking data and copy the power window and the tracking data I made for the shot Y and paste it into the new node. the problem is I found the tracking data went wrong. So, I tried another solution which is to mix the node having power window and tracking data with another one having the effects using layer mixer or key mixer but it doesn't work. I can't mimic the effects because it is grading using LGG so it needs to be accurate and I will not do the tracking again because it is manual and took too much time. so, how to solve it, please?

You can separate the tracking/isolation and the grade into different nodes-- mask/key/track in node one, and send the alpha output (the blue connector on the node, which makes a dashed line) to node two, where you can grade the isolated area.
