cannot record via my mic from laptop after upgrading to 17.1

Hey, I have recently updated to DaVinci Resolve 17.1. Build 24

I used to use Davinci 16.X to record voiceover by using my microphone (External or built-in), I updated Resovle 17.1 3 days ago and I cannot record anymore. After I added another sound track , there is no wave displayed for the bars and the record track looks to be slient.

I tried to reinstall the software, upgraded the Realtek audio driver but it is still the same problem.

Hi Tasha,

same problem here, but only in new projects, in elder existing onces mic-recording worked fine!?
So, for me it helped turning on the “Use fixed bus mapping” checkbox in Project Settings/Fairlight/Audio Busing Mode.
