Highlight Diff giving unexpected results in RCM/ACES

PostMon Mar 29, 2021 4:51 pm

When using "Highlight Difference" (A/B) in RCM projects that are not timeline Rec 709 2.4 the output looks to be processing in the wrong color space.

For example if timeline space is set to LOG-C or ACES the default color of an unchanged pixel is full white. The expected behavior is that this pixel would be middle grey.

Tested on PC. Version 17.1 Build 24.
PC: Resolve 18.0.1, WINDOWS 10, GTX 3090
Desktop Video 12.0
(All bug reports etc. are PC unless specified.)
Mac: Mac Studio M1 Ultra, Resolve 18.0.1, 12.4
