Hey all,
Wondering what video card for the iMac / Mac Pro would handle 4k 10bit 422 prores the best while editing in Davinci Studio version? I've read conflicting information on the internet and youtube between the w5700x and vega 2. Can anyone elaborate at all on either cards performance with Davinci?
I shoot on the Canon EOS R + Atomos Ninja V so that codec is all I'm working with right now. My current card a Radeon Pro 580 with 8gb and is always maxed out to 100% when using Davinci currently (fans blazing) and always dropping frames while editing even with 1/4 proxy.
