Copy project to external hard drive vs create new database

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but: What's the best way to put a project on my computer onto an external hard drive so I can hand the hard drive over to someone else?

Do I just Export the project onto the external hard drive?

Or do I have to create a new database on the external hard drive?

Open Resolve. From the Project Manager, right click on the project and choose Export Project Archive.

On the other computer, you would choose Restore Project Archive.
