Hi,
We are planning on upgrading our facility from 16.2.5 to 17.1.1.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could answer a few questions.
We have 8 Resolve Studio 16.2.5 running on Win 10 and 2 Resolve Studio 16.2.5 running on OSX 10.13.6.
Our Resolve Project Server is running on OSX 10.13.6 as well.
We will backup everything before upgrading of course.
1. Must the OSX systems running 10.13.6 be upgraded to 10.15 or later before the Resolve upgrade? Or can I still run 17.1.1 on 10.13.6 even though it is not officially supported?
2. Must the Project Server OSX be upgraded to 10.15 as well? or can it still run on 10.13.6?
3. I understand that since V17 the Project Server is a standalone installer. If I just run the installer on the machine running the Project Server, Will it just overwrite the current installed Project Server? Or should I uninstall first?
4. On the Windows systems, I assume only an uninstall of version 16 and install version 17 is needed, is that correct? (and upgrading the database on the first 17.x launch)
