Resolve 16 Fade handles don't seem to be working

Hi guys,

I'm trying to fade a timeline clip in and out, but the fade handles don't have any effect. It's drawing the ramps on the clip as expected, but it's not actually fading.

I ended up dropping in a couple of cross dissolves to achieve the desired effect, but I'm not sure why I had to.

Any idea?

A system glitch.

Given that we're up to 17.1.1, you likely won't see any updates to 16.

Have you tried this on a brand new timeline with just one clip in it? That might point to whether there's some issue in the timeline you were trying to use. The next step is to close and restart Resolve, open a brand new project, and try it there to see if it was your project that has some sort of weird issue.
