I'm seeing some weirdness that doesn't make sense to me. A new feature? A bug? (I think I posted on this once, but couldn't find it.)
I have a four channel audio file added to two timeline tracks, A2 and A3.
On the Edit page, with Linked Selection on, selecting one selects both, as I'd expect. Hitting ALT during selection or turning Linked Selection off will select only one, as I'd expect.
In other words, all good on the Edit page.
On the Fairlight page, things go weird.
With Linked Selection on, selecting one selects both, as I'd expect. However, engaging ALT will not override Linked Selection as it does on the Edit page. That's...annoying. I have to turn Linked Selection off globally to select only one track. That's also annoying.
Additionally, if Linked Selection is off on the Fairlight page, but on for Edit, then the Fairlight setting will override the Edit setting. That's also annoying.

My Biases:
You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
