Davinci Resolve 17 Won't Start

Davinci Resolve 16 crashed in the middle of an export, when I went to reopen it, it will no longer start. After some troubleshooting I decided to just upgrade to 17 (something I had been planning to do anyways) hoping that the install would fix whatever the crash had done to Davinci Resolve 16. However the problem persisted, I still can't get it to work and can't for the life of me understand why.
