Resolve on Macmini M1

Hey guys,

will Resolve run smoothly on the new Macmini M1? My intention is to work on short duration ad projects, not using 4k or 8k footage, nothing too professional. I´m basically a enthusiast and business owner looking to make some social media ads for my business without having to hire a graphic designer. I will have to use Fusion, though, which i hear is a tricky part of the equation when it comes to computer specs, but again, i don´t think i will making super elaborate stuff.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Moved to Resolve forum

I would wait for the next generation with a stronger GPU and more RAM if Fusion matters. The current M1 machines are entry-level. They are very nice and smooth for some editing and basic grading on the road, with GOP formats too, but they don't cut it for motion graphics.
