When exporting video I do not get one full video

PostFri Apr 09, 2021 9:44 pm

Hey people I wanted to export (save) my edited video but at the end Ive seen that I got saved 3 videos in my file. It was my intro and the other sectioned videos that actually should be merged and be one whole video.. I dont understand how this happened.

My next question is: Ive got a length of 2h of this video and my question is how can I make of this 2h video to 4 videos so that i have each video of 30 minutes material? I tried to copy the video and the sound section to another project so that i can cut it but the sound never got pasted right and at the end I messed up.

Im actually new to editing thing so I would appreciate if I get it described as detailed as prossible :)

One explanation might be that you set Deliver to Individual Clips instead of Single Clip.

But, please excuse me, your description is pretty hard to understand and it might be helpful if you first cover some of the basic training sessions supplied for free by BM: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/au/pro ... e/training
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Definitely start by doing the lessons in the Beginner's Guide as a first step, before you work on any real projects.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
