CacheClip folder - Can I delete this?

PostSun Apr 11, 2021 9:36 am

In RESOLVE I have set my WORKING FOLDERS (Proxy Generation location, Cache Files Location, Gallery Stills Location) to an external drive to free up space on my computers main internal drive. I have been working with this new location for sometime now.

The old CacheClip folder still contains some 116GB of data - the location on my computers (a Mac) internal drive and is in the MOVIES folder.

I am still mid-project.

Q. Can I just delete the old CacheClip folder on my internal drive to claim back that 116GB ?

Thanks.

The CacheClip folder contains render cache files and in version 17 deleting optimised media is now a manual process. Deleting the contents of the CacheClip folder will regenerate audio waveform profiles when loading a Project.
