Strange issue with Media Offline

PostWed Apr 14, 2021 7:31 pm

I didn't get any feedback when I posted this on 7th of April, so I'll try again:

I'm relatively new to DaVinci and therefore following the official BlackMagic tutorial on color correction in DaVinci 16. I've run into a strange issue with Media Offline, and I can't seem to find anything about this particular issue.
I'm following the lesson 3 on page 79 on enhancing skin Tones with Face Refinement (OpenFx).
I add a serial node and apply the Face Refinement effect on it. After successfully analysing a clip as indicated in the tutorial, I proceed creating a window to refine the matte and I'm able to successfully track the window in the entire clip. But when I deselect the Show Overlay option and select the Show Mask option within the Face Refinements settings (according to the tutorial), the image in the viewer appears as offline in some parts of the clips. This is also the case when I'm looking at the clip in the Edit window.
Relinking the clip brings it back, but as soon as I touch any of the options in Face Refinement settings, part of the clip goes offline again.
I'm using DaVinci Studio 16.2.8 and the footage is provided by BlackMagic as part of the tutorial.
Any suggestions?
