Delivering timelapse image sequences using correct directory

PostSun Apr 18, 2021 5:09 pm

When importing timelapses in the form of TIFF image sequences Resolve automatically creates a single clip name in the bin based on the start and end file numbering of the clips (eg "RKP_[2078-4056].tiff").

What I need to do is export each timelapse as an EXR image sequence inside a folder with the same name as the corresponding source TIFF files. For example:

Source: .../timelapse_name/[multiple TIFFs making up timelapse]
Destination: .../timelapse_name/[multiple EXRs making up timelapse]

However, when I place multiple timelapses on a timeline and export as "individual clips" and the File Subfolder setting as "Clip Directory" Resolve crashes with the error message saying it failed to render the first clip. If I change File Subfolder to "Clip Name" then it just places the EXR files into a folder names after the number of the

For example: /RKP_[2078-4056].tiff/[multiple EXRs making up timelapse]

So my question is, what delivery settings will allow the exported EXRs to be saved in the identical parent folder name as the source TIFFs?

Only idea I have is to use Single clip and set up the folders manually.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
