Watermark/Data burn in for proxy work flow

Hi all. Is there a way to display some form of watermark for when working with proxies? I've tried the data burn in, but all the information it displays seems to be identical to the original material. I know I could just add a watermark in the timeline, export the clips through the deliver tab and then link them as proxies, but I'm looking for a faster way of doing this, just like Premiere has with the ingest presets.

There's no simple way. You'd have to create the proxies with the watermark, which isn't an option for the right click Generate Proxy command.

But...I've always found the option under the Playback menu a sufficient indicator. It's not visible at all times, but it takes only a second to look.
