Burn Display Profile to Exported Video

PostThu Apr 22, 2021 10:26 pm

Is there a way to burn or embed the macbook display profile HD 709-A to the exported video so that anyone who views it has the same colors (to a high extent at least...because I know that every screen has a different calibration). Is that possible? If not, what is the closest solution?

You need to convert your display profile to a LUT. I can't help with Mac as I know nothing about it, but on Windows it's easy with DisplayCal.

Just figured DisplayCal is available for Mac as well. So just use that and create a LUT for your display using a measurement probe / calibration or load whatever color profile and export a LUT for Resolve from that.
