Resolve media pool 'LUT' cf. Timeline

PostMon May 03, 2021 3:08 am

Hi all,

Apologies, I'm not really sure what exactly it is I'm trying to describe, so bear with me.

When auditioning clips in the media pool *before* they are inserted into the timeline, is it possible to have them show with a basic lut/grade? Reason I ask is that with the Gen 5, a lot of them are very, very flat, and I'd like them to be more contrast-y while I'm going through them.

Obviously I can change the project settings back, but I'd prefer to not have to keep fiddling with that - lest I forget to undo a change.

Is there a way to have each clip show a grade / lut or similar, but then revert to flat once it's slotted into the timeline?

Cheers!

My preferred method is to use ACES, setting the ODT to the largest color space I will need for delivery.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
