Dual Audio Select on Multiclip?

Hi All!

So I know how to make a multi-clip and use that in the timeline, etc. But once you have that multiclip in the timeline, you can only select one audio track (even if the multi-clip had two coming from two separate microphones (via a recorder).

How would you go about having both of those audio tracks selected when you are doing the cutting in the timeline? Right now you can only select one at a time, and I would like both of them:

My technique is to not use the Multicam audio at all.

1. When creating a Multicam, only add camera clips. Don't add separately recorded sound.

2. After adding the Multicam to your main timeline, add any audio you actually want to use under the Multicam and sync it up. This includes separately recorded sound as well as camera audio.

3. Disable the audio from the Multicam.

Keeping the usable audio out of the Multicam makes mixing the audio in Fairlight much easier.

Yes - that makes sense, because I intend to mix the two channels in Fairlight and this is the only way I think.

What is your opinion about syncing the audio clips to the video prior to creating a multicam clip?

Pointless, as you won't be using the audio in the Multicam.
