Fairlight Page's plug-in disappears

PostSat May 08, 2021 8:18 am

Davinci Resolve 17.1.1
Whatever plug-in I load on a fairlight page track, after having closed and reopened the (saved) project, the plug-in disappears....
Any fix?
Thank you

Never had that happen. Saved projects with plug-ins always re-open with them intact. That includes native and third party ones.
Here's a year old project I've just opened, and you can see that the plug-ins are still there.

Does it occur only with plug-ins (effects you add yourself), or does it also happen with native effects?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

The OPs video shows the native Delay plug-in. I have tested this plug-in inserted into a Fairlight track and it is also still there when re-opening a project.

Yeah, I've never had a native effect disappear on me either.

I'm not really a fan of plug-in effects, so I don't use those.

Till now it had never happened to me either. Among other things it happens only on this project... I have another project where all is fine....

Post a link to the problematic Project without media.

Do the Projects that exhibit this issue include multiple Timelines?
Does cycling through the different Timelines expose the previously hidden plugin instances?

Please try this with DaVinci Resolve 17.2 before posting a link.

Here it is the project. Even after 17.2 update the problem continues
