Hello everyone, I'm new here and also quite new to film making so sorry if my question is stupid but I really couldn't find any information about my problem but it sounds basic (maybe I just can't call it properly - I'm not native English speaker and also I don't know yet many technical words from film making).
So, I want to create a video combined from many long records. At first, I'm watching those records and I want to select parts that could be used in the final video. I was doing it by collecting parts on track but when there were quite many of them it was really hard to use it (for example I had 5 tracks to scroll less vertically to search for the part I want to put on the "final" track). I guess this is not the way it should be done but I couldn't find any info on how I can make a collection of parts from records. I know there is media pool but I can't cut videos there so it's not helping me because for example I can have 30min record and I will select let's say 3 parts from this each 1min and I want to operate on those parts.
