Already Burnt Subtitles not being rendered

PostMon May 10, 2021 5:07 pm

Hey everyone,

I have a video previously subtitled in Adobe Premiere by my partner and I am using it to complete the editing project I'm working on, but I'm using our beloved Resolve to do so.

As I finish exporting, I noticed that the subtitles that were already burnt in into that video is now gone and I can't understand why.

Am I not doing something here?

(yes, I did tried exporting with the option to burn the subs when setting up the render in Resolve, but this is not working).

Did you really transfer the clips with the subtitles or only the XML from Premiere?
It's impossible that burnt-in subtitles disappear. Some people might even want to have such an application (which doesn't exist).
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
