Sony A7III HLG3

Has anyone struggled with colouring HLG footage. I also have the leeming lut fix which i apply at the start. im coming form adobe and finding the transition a little difficult and intimidating but getting there slowly. just looking to see what sony a73 profile users recommend for filming weddings. i like to shoot dark and moody and realise slog is not good for low light conditions. could someone offer any advice re
1. best sony profile to film in (currently hlg3 and used to use cine4) for editing in davinci resolve 17
2. do you use leeming lut pro corrector

I've never filmed with a Sony, but my preferred method of working is ACES, and there are several IDT's for Sony included. (Though none are HLG.)

Were this me, I'd test the various SLog options and find which works best in ACES.

Hi, @jollygoodweddingfilms I know it's been a while but I'm interested to hear how you got on?

Any chance you can share your experiences? I too am just about to switch to HLG3 on A7iii so any advice on shooting with the PP itself or editing it in DR17 would be useful.

Thanks for that. Great article and very in depth but I'm looking for less science and more day-to-day real life usage.

Anyone been using HLG3 over recent months and care to share experiences and settings on the A7iii.
