For basic HD editing you can probably get away with it.

The current version minimum system requirements for Windows suggests:
16 GB of system memory (32 GB when using Fusion) and a GPU with at least 2GB of VRAM that supports OpenCL 1.2 or CUDA 11.

The specs you've posted for the your laptop shows it only has 8GB RAM (so it's clearly below spec there and you'll want to steer well clear of the Fusion page) but the GPU at least does just meet the recommended minimum system minimum requirements (tho I think it may be about the lowest rated mobile GPU to do so).

Bottom line, download the free version, install it and give it a try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

You may want to try and set the timeline to 1280x720 for editing and up it to HD for rendering only.
Plus, if your footage is H.264, either convert it to a mezzanine codec before editing or get Studio.
Good luck.

How did this eventually turn out for you? Could you run Resolve and do basic editing?

So I tried installing it and installation did went successfull(tbh no problem occurs while installing). But when I launched it, it gave me gpu configuration error regarding opencl and cuda compatibility. Unfortunately, cuda is not supported by 920m so rip to it. I checked the manual config and it was already set to opencl, dunno why it still didn't let me open davinci. Guess too old gpu maybe? I did searched and tried to find possible solutions but none that could make it run.

Maybe you all better know otherwise bad luck for me.

An option that is rarely mentioned, for those with low spec machines who are not in a position to upgrade and may not need all the latest bells and whistles in version 17, it is possible to still download earlier versions on the support page.
Microsoft Windows 11 Pro x64
Version 23H2 build 22631.3527
MSI MS-7E07 Motherboard
Intel i5-13600K
64GB DDR5 RAM

Driver version 572.16

You might need to check that the app is correctly seeing/using the discrete 920M GPU and not trying to use the unsupported Intel HD Graphics 5500 integrated chipset.

For what its worth, according to Nvidia, the 920M supports CUDA compute level 3.5, which is the minimum compute level requirement for CUDA 11 support (which is the minimum requirement for Resolve).

So, if you have a more suitable machine available to you then you (and Resolve!) will certainly be much happier... but if not, you might yet still succeed with that old laptop.

Cheers
