The goal is to transfer my custom keyboard shortcuts from one Resolve workspace (laptop) to another Resolve workspace (desktop). Why not do this by hand, you say? Aside from the fact that transferring each custom hot-key by hand will take too much time, I want to have the option to easily travel with my custom hot-keys. Whether working in a new suite for a short term contract, or setting up my home suite after a move, I can quickly and painlessly import my custom hot-keys.
I thought perhaps hot-keys would translate from project file to project file (I stand by this being great idea), but after testing there doesn't appear to be a relationship between the two.
It seems like the Adobe Suite uses a ".kys" file format to accomplish this:
