OK I import mp3 audio song files in for a project. Quite often but not all the time the imported audio file the last like 10 seconds gets cut off. I can listen to the track from the folder where the mp3 is and it is fine. Once imported to Resolve, the end gets cut off. My only solution to date is record the song using Audacity save it as a wav and import that file. I don't understand why if the source mp3 audio is fine, why Resolve cuts off the last 10 seconds or so of the file. Is there a setting somewhere for this? It is rather frustrating

What sample rate? Can you give us full mediainfo?
Davinci Resolve Studio 20 build 49, Windows 11, Ultra 7 265k, Nvidia 5070 TI, 576.80 Studio
OK, on one particular track the orginal audio file bit rate shows 128kbs and is 3:45 in length. But imported into resolve the length is 3:28. When I playback the audio file and record it with Audacity, the bit rate shows 1411kbs and I export that as a .wav into Resolve and in complete, not cut off any more
If there is add'l info needed on the audio file let me know where to look I'm not sure if there is more detail within Resolve on that
Sure would like to know if there is a solution here. I really don't understand why the file on my computer is complete, and importing into Reslove shaves 10 seconds off the end of the file. I also tried saving the files as mp3 when recording from Audacity and those imported just fine
Karl, all i can suggest is something may be odd in the original mp3 encoding that was used. If the mp3 from Audacity works, then it would point to that. I tested an mp3 out of Pro Tools and that worked fine as well. Can you post the original mp3 somewhere with a link and I could try it on my system if you want to see if it does the same..?
