Timeline selection dropdown limited to 10 items?

PostThu Jun 03, 2021 6:07 pm

17.2.1, build 12, Win10-- in a project with more than 10 timelines (14 in this specific case), the timeline selection dropdown menu on the color page (just above the viewport) only lists 10 items.

I haven't had a project with this many timelines in it for a while, so I'm not sure if this is expected behavior or a bug, and if it is a bug if it's new or longstanding.

Anyone else experiencing this? BMD support, is this expected behavior?

thanks!

There is a reason for it.

But man, I can't remember what it is.

Annoyingly it's only in the default mode it's limited to 10, the others are not: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=140750&p=757859

Thanks! Setting timeline sort order to in the 3-dot menu to alphabetical fixed it. What a weird default behavior though.
