Hi there,
I have no idea exactly when the issues started, after what software version update, but I can not reliably work using DaVinci..
Today just had few weird issues when working on a 2 min "Video Testimonial" project:
1. I have 5 audio channels: 2 from Pocket 4k internal mics, and 3 from MixPre2-3 32bit audio, when the first 2 MixPre channels are silent (the microphone was connected to channel 3 in mixpre). All the audio was synced using timecode to pocket 4k video.
All the audio channels were too silent, but when I tried to normalize the audio to -10db, it didn't seem to work properly. Then I unlinked all the audio channels, and tried normalizing only the 5th audio channel, and the result was better, but still not loud enough like I was expecting.. So I had to normalize it to -2db in order to make it loud enough..
2. Then when I finally started the final project rendering, the progress bar was stuck on 1% and would not proceed. Couldn't stop the render and had to Quit DaVinci Resolve by right clicking on its icon on my Mac.
Then I got Report Error message, reported, Restarted the app, and again the same issue. Then I restarted the MacBook Pro, and again the "rendering in process" shows 00:11:32 Remaining 1 of 1 jobs, but on the job 1 it shows 00:07:03 Remaining and stuck on 1%.
Activity monitor shows that DaVinci using only 4.4% CPU, and only 5.48GB of RAM out of 32GB, and no SSD activity.
I'm stuck and don't know what to do in order to keep working.
Any suggestions?
