Multicam Audio Channels

PostTue Jun 15, 2021 9:13 pm

I've shot two cameras for a documentary with two individuals each mic'ed up. I'm running mic 1 into the left channel of the 6K Pocket and I'm running mic 2 into the right channel. When I sync the two cameras I get a mixed stereo audio track that plays the speakers in the left and right channels. All I'd like to do is mix them both into a mono track as opposed to hearing them only on the left or the right. I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THIS FOR THE LIFE OF ME. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried everything I can think of, including copying the channels in the timeline and dragging them down to a new track, but it still won't let me move Speaker 1 to mono (Track 1) and speaker 2 to mono (track 2). Has anyone figured out a workaround?

Navigate to clip attributes from the Media page and add 2 mono tracks, then go back and trash the original stereo track assignment.

Good Luck
