What is the secret to getting the Speed Editor to be recognized on Bluetooth?

iMac Pro's bluetooth just will not connect.

Yes. It is charged. That is not the problem.

The Speed Editor requires Bluetooth Low Energy which requires Bluetooth v4 or later. Try the instructions here to determine the version on your system. https://www.imore.com/how-tell-if-your- ... uetooth-40

finally got it to connect and stay connected on my iMac Pro but it was janky.

Had to plug in first, disable bluetooth, re-enable bluetooth then it found the Speed Editor.

I've been doing something "similar"... removing and re-pairing it every time. Far from ideal, so I ended up using it with USB.

this has also been my experience on my Windows machines. Either removing and re-pairing the Bluetooth device, or connect with USB. In some cases Bluetooth works instantly.

I've done the same as you, many times. I eventually gave up and left the cable connected.
