Frame rate mismatch maybe causing green overlay on monitor?

PostThu Jun 24, 2021 12:18 am

Hey All –

I’ve been given someone else’s Resolve project (always hard to cook in someone else’s kitchen), and I’m running into a problem that PROBABLY has a simple fix.

In Project Settings - Video Monitoring set to 1080p 23.976 (which matches timeline settings), I get a green cast-overlay on my monitor. Photo enclosed for reference.

When I tab out of Resolve (put Resolve in the background), the image clears up and looks correct – until I bring Resolve back to the front.

I recognize that as likely a sync playback issue, so I experiment a bit and discover that if I set Video Monitoring to 1080 60i, the image is fine, but the timeline plays back at 60fps (as if I sped up the timeline).

Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance!
