Is there a way to activate the top-level menus on the main menu bar (File/Edit/Trim/etc) using only the keyboard? Eg. I want Alt+W (or any other key combo) to open the Workspace menu, which I could then navigate further with arrow keys. (Talking about Windows and, I assume, Linux... on MacOS I think there's a built-in OS feature to focus on the menu bar.)
If I first click on any top-level menu, then the cursor keys work as expected/usual. So I guess another way to ask this is if there's any way to give the menu bar focus w/out clicking on it.
This is such a basic accessibility feature that I feel I must be missing something... but I see no way to assign shortcuts to top-level menus, give the menu bar focus, nor can I find anything relevant in the manual or the 'net (though it's challenging to come up with the right set of keywords for this particular issue w/out lots of irrelevant hits).
Thanks,
