The Media Pool on the Cut page used to sort properly but now it seems to have a bug. I have footage from two different cameras and when I sort by date modified, ascending it shows all of the files from camera 1 first, followed by all of the files for camera 2. These cameras were run simultaneously and started and stopped via remote control. Here are a few of the files so that you can see the issue:
Camera 1
File 1 = 6/29/2021 7:43:25
File 2 = 6/29/2021 7:54:36
Camera 2
File 1 = 6/29/2021 7:43:18
File 2 = 6/29/2021 07:54:29
Here's the display order in DR 17.2.1:
Camera 1, File 1
Camera 1, File 2
Camera 2, File 1
Camera 2, File 2
Here's what the display order should be:
Camera 2, File 1
Camera 1, File 1
Camera 2, File 2
Camera 1, File 2
This slows down my post work as I essentially grab the two files next to one another after sorting, create a bin for them, then a syncbin.... but now I have to figure out the sorting myself and find the files which in a pool of ~50 file pairs is work that DR should do for me (and used to do without the bug).
Interestingly, the media pool view on the Edit Page sorts properly!
