Chinese input not working in Linux

PostThu Jul 01, 2021 1:26 am

I'm using the latest version of Davinci Resolve here on Linux. When trying to add something like a title in the Edit page with Chinese, it doesn't work. The input method framework I'm using is ibus (the latest version I think), which is the default for Gnome. I know Resolve is using the QT framework, my system already has QT_IM_MODULE=ibus set. Krita is also a QT application, and I can input Chinese just fine there. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Thanks.

The problem that the Chinese input method does not work under the Linux version has been going on for a long time, and it was reflected in the email as early as 2018.
But it didn’t get any useful reply or solution,
I know that the Centos 7.3 version officially recommended by BMD, as well as the Da Vinci Chinese input under Debian and its derivatives have problems.
Hope BMD can see and give a solution
