This very for useful for dialogue post-prodution plug-in is VST 3. Accordingly, while it works in Fairlight, it's functionality in Fairlight is limited in that it does not show the McDSP SA2 Dialogue Processor presets at all. (I am running Resolve Studio 17.2 on a late 2019 MacBook Pro and Catalina 10.15.7 and the latest McDSP SA2 Dialogue Processor version 6.7.1)
McDSP kindly has made available on its FAQ page sets of VST2 presets for its plugins, from which I added the SA2 VST2 presets into the SA2 folder within my applications folder. When that did not work, and based on the McDSP tech desk suggestion that I might want to try to try putting the SA2 VST2 presets anywhere else where Resolve might scan for them at program start-up, I also added the SA2 VST2 presets into my library/audio/presets folder. When that did not work, I then also put a copy in my user/[name]/documents folder (which is where my Izotope presets appear to reside).
In short, frustrating not to be able to make this excellent McDSP plugin work fully in Fairlight. It would be outstanding if VST3 could be embraced and added into Fairlight by BMD ASAP, of course, but if anyone has figured out how to make McDSP's SA2 Dialogue Processor (or other McDSP VST3 plugins) work in Fairlight, with the presets functions working, kindly share any insight you may have. Thank you.
