Render Time Increasing Indefinitely.

PostFri Jul 02, 2021 10:12 am

I was using Davinci Resolve 16 earlier and everything was working fine. I updated it last night and worked on a project for 8 hours and after that when I tried to export it it doesn't work. When I try to render it from deliver it just says rendering 1 out of 1 jobs and stays there for hours. When I try to quick export it just keeps on increasing expected rendering time indefinitely.

I have tried everything from changing timeline to changing resolution to changing clips lowering rendering speed and everything else I found on the internet like unchecking the box that says stop render when a frame or clip cannot be processed I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software I've rebooted my laptop I even tried to export another project which is like 5 seconds long but nothing seems to work.

Anyone please help me out.

I have attached the log file.

Hi Umar,

I feel your pain. It took me hours to figure this out.

Try this:

Go to the Playback menu and delete Render Cash and try to export on the Delivery Page.

Please let me know if it works.

Return to DaVinci Resolve
