Which clip metadata

PostSat Jul 03, 2021 2:37 pm

Is there any way, to show in the media pool which colorspace/gamut a clip originly has out of the camera? I got clips from different cameras (Sony A7Siii) but shot with different profiles (on being set to HLG3 the other to SLog 3, another one with no picgture profile ata all). I looked up the metadata, but nothing there. I thought, the Camera would record which settings were used?

Don't think Resolve reads it from Sony files. Try mediainfo.

I don't think Mediainfo will parse that information either.

Sony Catalyst Browse is your best bet for non-RAW Sony material. Maybe Premiere does it (to a certain degree).

Catalyst for sure. Assimilate Scratch also shows it.
I don’t think Premiere shows it.

Mediainfo doesn't show it, exiftool does show (at least mode/gamut).
