Dear Resolve Crew,
we were editing a project in Resolve Studio this day and suddenly - we were almost finished - a warning pops up: "Critical Error saving project" with the options to Export the project or Restore it. Unfortunately both options didn't work, resulting in critical errors. From then on, Resolve was completely frozen.
After restarting Resolve, the project is completely missing from the database. No matter what we do, it won't show up - although the project folder and the Project.db exists in the database folder. We have tried the following:
- Creating an empty project and pasting our project.db into the newly created project -> new project is also missing
- Created a new database and put the project in there
- Refreshed everything and restartet the computer a couple of times
Now, we are a bit clueless. We would loose the work of an entire day - Backup .drp from yesterday exists, but since then a lot has changed and we've put a lot of work into it.
Does anyone have an idea how to repair the Project.db? It's about 16 MB and if viewed in a text editor, the header seems to be more or less the same style as another working project, so it can't be totally shredded.
Any ideas?
