Is there any way to switch between "selection mode" and "trim edit mode" in the edit page using Speed Editor? I switch between these two modes constantly, and having to use the keyboard each time is a big distraction.
On a related note, in Resolve 15 the cursor changed its appearance based on whether you were in selection mode or trim edit mode. This was extremely useful, since you could tell at a glance as you were making a trim which mode was operational. This feature apparently disappeared in Resolve 17 (I never used Resolve 16, so don't know if that version still had it). As a result, when making a trim you now you have to remember to switch your attention to the icon bar immediately above the timeline to check which mode is operational. This may seem minor, but again it's a distraction and too often I forget to check and end up using a mode other than the one I intended. When the cursor itself changed appearance, there was never any confusion since you were looking directly at the cursor as you made the trim and therefore always knew which mode you were using. Is there any way to restore this behavior in Resolve 17?
