source frame showing 0 and not correct frame count 1001

PostWed Jul 07, 2021 9:16 pm

Working in Animation with source clips that don't start on a zero frame count. Davinci Resolve 16 displays the source 1st frame correctly as 1001 but Resolve 17 now shows 0. How do I switch the source frame count to display the true start (IN) source frame and not zero? My frame count should match the clip frame. Most of my clips start at 1001 but in D17 the source frame shows 0, not 1001. This becomes a problem in Animation when the start of a clip has had frames cut (1017) or frames added (998) to the start of a clip. When we detect errors in the animation such as a crash or paint blemish we need to be able to tell the Animation artist the frame of the error.

Shot in the dark here. What are your Project Settings>General Options>Conform Options?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
