Timeline Export EDL Truncated

PostWed Jul 07, 2021 7:40 pm

I'm working in Resolve Studio 17.2.2 build 4 and am trying to export my timeline in EDL format in order to create a cue sheet for Legal clearance of some 3rd party clips. However the EDL seems to truncate the timeline at edit 89, which is just past the halfway mark. I've tried this with other timelines and see similar truncation when there are more than 89 edits. I've tried deleting clips on both sides of the truncation point but the results are the same. Any suggestions for how to export a complete EDL?

I was having problems exporting EDLs with a previous version of 17, but that appears to have been fixed. I just did a test and got this from one timeline:

It goes well beyond 89 all the way to 200+. Is it possible you have an In and Out point set?

My advice would be to contact BMD support and send them a DRP and see if they can duplicate the problem.

Hi Marc,

In and Out was the first thing I experimented with, but it didn't change anything. Hopefully BMD will be able to find something.

Thanks.
